The history of this ambulance began with the initiative of a Ukrainian woman from Canada Tatyana Morley and Ukrainian-Canadian Association “Tryzub”, who donated $4,500 “for ambulance”.
Ruslan Fogel and Orest Ivanyshyn found two ambulances as far as Portugal, 3,600 km from Ukraine, which made their delivery much more difficult.
But this issue was solved by the spouses Liliya Gvozdiv and Andriy, who brought the cars to the border of Poland and Ukraine on their own truck.
There wasn only a few stretchers and a place to transport the patient inside the ambulances. United Help Ukraine equipped it with equipment worth $5-7 thousand: an Astral150 ventilator, a defibrillator and an oxygen concentrator – Committee of Entrepreneurs of Lviv Oblast
