"Icons Save Lives" Charity auction
“Icons Save Lives” is a joint project of the charitable non-profit organization “Always Ukraine” together with its Ukrainian sister organization “Zavzhdy UA” and in partnership with the art gallery “Iconart”. The artworks featured in this auction are the result of a collaboration with 34 Ukrainian contemporary icon painters. These talented artists used ammunition boxes as their canvases. The 50 icons and paintings not only convey the emotions experienced by individuals during times of war but also symbolize the unwavering faith, hope, and collective strength of the Ukrainian nation in overcoming existential struggles.
All proceeds from this auction will be dedicated to the “Rhesus Factor (UA) – Your Blood Code” project, a joint initiative of the “Always Ukraine” foundation and “Zavzhdy UA”. The project’s primary objective is to raise funds for a mobile blood collection station for the Lviv Regional Blood Service Center to assure stable and regular blood supply, as well as to promote blood donations.
Works will be available for purchase at Liveauctioneers online auction site. There will also be an offline exhibition at 32 east 25th street, Bayonne, NJ where you can view the works live.
